JANUARY 13

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
I Peter 5:7

Every day this week, God has shown us in one way or another how much He cares for us. We have had so many emails, comments, and phone calls from family and friends expressing their continued prayer for Gary. Not a day goes by without hearing about someone new praying for us and asking their church and friends to do so. How humbling and amazing this is to us. It really encourages Gary.
Gary was admitted back in the hospital today to start another treatment. As with the last treatment, they will hydrate him for several hours, then give sodium bicarbonate for 24 hours before starting the Methorexate. Because Gary did so well last time, they are going to increase the dosage to 75%. It makes us a little nervous upping the dosage, but if we do this, it will possibly reduce the amount of treatments as a whole he would have to go through.

The doctor did confirm for me today, that this new development in his brain, is different than the Lymphoma in his nerves. They did see several tumors. So, he has two diagnosis .... Neurolymphomatosis and Central Nervous System Lymphoma.

Please join us in prayer for Gary once again, that his kidneys will handle the Methotrexate and he will be able to leave the hospital before the week is out. Thank you so much for your prayers!
