Gary has done well since coming home from the hospital. He still sleeps alot, but that is probably due to all the medicines and part of the central nervous system lymphoma. Gary's next treatment will be on the 17th, so he is talking about making a trip this week to Oklahoma to see family. We are waiting to see how he feels today and tomorrow before we decide. The 11 hour drive is a major factor in our decision.
After this next treatment, they will do a MRI and PET scan to see how much cancer is left and then make a decision on the next course of treatment. We will be anxious to see the results. Thank you so much for your prayers! It is such a comfort to know we are not alone.
I pray that you have a good trip. We miss you over on the Spark Care Bears' team. Just know that we are with you.

This is a great picture of Gary sitting up in his "street clothes"~smiling! What a welcome sight! Tell him I am so glad he is feeling better and that our class is still praying for all of you. God performs miracles every day and we are asking for complete healing for him! Be careful if you go to OK but enjoy every minute of it! Love you! Trina :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you guys are home - and hope you get to make your trip. We'll pray for your wisdom in that. Gary looks good and relaxed - enjoying that puppy!
